MISEC / GRSec Meeting March 12th

To be clear GRSEC is being resurrected and is being combined with the Grand Rapids chapter of MISEC.

The more folks that can come out and socialize the merrier. Tell your friends & spread the word far and wide please.

We are going to meet up at WMCAT at 6:00PM EST (https://wmcat.org/) located at 614 First St NW, Suite 300 Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

We are going to be talking about Radio & SDR (Software Defined Radios). If you've got some gear you'd like to bring &/or things you'd like to discuss pertaining to radio, software defined radio or IT security please feel free to join us your fellow techies. After the talk we will probably traverse to a local watering hole for those interested.

If you've got any ideas for talks I'm happy to discuss any topics you think the group would like; feel free to come out to discuss in person or feel free to get in touch on the MISEC Slack.

MISEC / GRSec Meeting February 13th *LOCATION CHANGED to WMCAT*

Apologies to all that the last post was a little bit difficult to understand if anyone was confused by it.

To be clear GRSEC is being resurrected and is being combined with the Grand Rapids chapter of MISEC.

The more folks that can come out and socialize the merrier.

The plan is to meet up at the Grand Rapids Community College Maker Space & head on over to local watering hole afterwards. Meetup time is at 6:00 pm. 

New plan, we are going to meet up at WMCAT (https://wmcat.org/) located at 614 First St NW, Suite 300
Grand Rapids, MI 49504. We are tentatively planning to play Backdoors & Breaches (if you have a deck please feel free to bring it) & chat & then head on over to a watering hole to be determined by the folks in attendance.

This week our esteemed founder Paul passed the baton to Zach and I to carry on the monthly tradition of good beer, great conversation and talking security.

GRSec - One Last Time!

This is the last GRSec before I relocate out of state.  Thank you to everyone that has ever come out, talked shop, shared knowledge, sipped a drink, and told a story over the last 8 years.  It's been so great to get to know so many of you, and I look forward to watching you progress in your careers and seeing you again at amazing events like GrrCON.
